What we do
Your own AI. Not someone else’s cloud.
Most AI tools ask you to send your work to someone else’s cloud. Craton brings the AI to you: a dedicated server, used only by your team, answering to you alone.
A server that’s yours alone
A dedicated AI server in your office or in a Canadian data centre, never shared with another client. What your team types stays there.
A private assistant for your team
Drafting, summarising and answering questions, through a familiar chat interface, with no outside account and nothing shared.
Hybrid when you choose
When a job needs a bigger model, it goes to Canadian-hosted infrastructure, under Canadian law, and only when you allow it.
How it works
Four steps. Nothing leaves.
One monthly fee covers the server, the setup and the support. Your data is always yours: at the end of the term we hand it back and wipe the hardware.
Understand what must stay private
We look at who will use it, for what, and which information must never leave your control.
Put it in your building
We supply a right-sized AI server and install it on your network, behind your firewall, or run it for you in a Canadian data centre.
Accounts, access and models
Your team signs in with their own accounts. You decide who can use what, and which models are allowed.
Keep it current
Updates, monitoring and training for your staff, from people in Canada who know your setup.
Who it’s for
For work that can’t go to someone else’s cloud.
If your clients trust you with confidential information, public AI tools put that trust at risk. Private AI doesn’t.
- Law firmsPrivileged material stays privileged.
- Accounting and financeClient financials never leave your office.
- Healthcare clinicsPatient information stays where privacy law expects it to be.
- Engineering and designDrawings and proposals stay in-house.
- Public sector and non-profitsData residency in Canada, by design.
- Anyone under NDAUse AI without breaking the promises you’ve made.
Why Canadian matters
Built on the Shield.
The Canadian Shield is North America’s craton: the oldest, most stable rock on the continent. It doesn’t move. Neither does your data.
Out of reach of foreign law
Data held by US providers can be compelled under US law, even when it sits in a Canadian data centre. Data on a dedicated server run by a Canadian-owned company, in your building or a Canadian data centre, stays under Canadian law.
Privacy law that’s ours
Designed around PIPEDA and provincial privacy expectations, not retrofitted from someone else’s.
Canadian-owned
Owned and operated in Ontario. When you call, you reach the people who set it up.
Two ways to run it
Choose how far your data travels.
Both are a monthly subscription: a dedicated server, accounts you control, and nothing shared without your say.
On-site
For work where nothing may leave the building.
- We install and maintain the server in your office
- No internet path for your data
- Optional: send heavier jobs to our Canadian-hosted models, only when you allow it
Canadian-hosted
For teams without a server room.
- Your own dedicated server in a Canadian data centre
- Never shared with another client
- Reached over a private, encrypted connection from your office
